hello friends. I am here to write again.

I am on my lunch break at work. something I wish I didn't have to do anymore. I have had a good year (until now) in my attempts to save and not spend money. I have been terrible with my spending the last few years. I have been spending everything I own. how silly.

last year I changed banks to one with a really good budgeting app. So far, this has made a big difference. I have been able to save up a nice amount of emergency money. by the end of the year, I hope to be working part-time as I travel. I am by no means close to retirement, but I will never be healthier than I am today. what a sad thought.

one of my ultimate goals is to be able to carry everything I own/need to be happy. This desire is causing me lots of internal unrest. while I already have everything I need and more, I have wanted to have a smaller version of the items I have. This would help me carry these things.

so what did I do, I spent some money.

I ordered a refurbished smartphone to use for video making and a nice keyboard for typing. I am actually using it to write this post.
